I went to start the bus and all I got was chattering relays.  I checked the voltage at the starter and it showed 24+ volts.  I thought maybe the batteries needed a boost so I took them out and charged them up. Reinstalled them to find the same thing. I started checking voltage at switches etc in the dash and I am only getting 20 volts at the start solenoid in the dash.  I have not had time to chase this down but any hints of where to look would be appreciated.  Got to get it up and running for the Damn Non Rally.   ;)

Check for loose or weak connections at batteries and for clean grounds. You say you had 24 plus at the starter....was it while someone hit the button and it was chattering?

Everything tested 24 to 25 volts after I charged the batteries.  I have 4 group 31 and three of the four would drop to between 6 and 8 volts when used by themselves BUT when I had all four connected they would test good with no load and drop when I turned the master switch on and hit the starter. When I got back to test the batts they were back at 24 volts. I took the gang apart and used two at a time to get my 24 volts.  Only one battery would keep the 12.6 after I put a load on. The other three would drop and not come back.  Just bad batteries.  Time for new.   ;D
