Damn Rally

We folks born in the northern climes take no note of your "chilly" weather and will arrive in "T" shirts with the sleeves rolled up and a bottle of sun tan lotion in our hand.  Personally, I had hoped to do a little ice fishing on the lake--but I guess I'll just have break out my inner tube and go swimming!

Hi Jack, the lake is awash with mussels brought in on boats from out of state, the most popular fun nowadays seems to be sailing and sail boards, but just recently saw a motorhome/boat crossover I  know where you can get pontoons that we can rig up to your pretty motorhome and some paddles, if you'd  like! Matt, we missed your post about where you were in Jackpot. Looked in the Cactus Pete's parking lot and didn't see your bus... See you at the rally.

We went West from Wells to Battle Mountain, then South to Austin where we wanted to spend the night, but no level spot anywhere and lots of snow. Drove on and holed up in the small town of Kingston in the mountains just off 377. No internet there!     In Beatty now for lunch. Probably Death Valley tonight, where maybe I can remove my long johns,  and Hoover Dam tomorrow for the rally.

Van somehow got the girls from Hooters on Tropicana, to come over saturday, with donation buckets, sponges, hoses and dove soap, for the poor bus nuts fund of Nevada incorporated, an IRS 501C3, nonprofit corporation, that is, people that wear Levi 501s and have mci 102C3s to pay for...

That settles it. I am bring both of my busses after I completely cover them with mud.

Yup! The weather is gonna be great this weekend! We now have 12 coaches Kevin the AZ dieselman just confirmed he will be there too! I'm afraid if you do not have prior commitments and don't make this Dam gathering you are really gonna miss out on the biggest Dam West Coast Non Rally Gathering of Converted Buses ever, and then you will have to wait to catch all the details and pix in the BCM Mag (and we all know how long that can be   ) LOL! Now you folks with the prevost's and Iggles gotta get on the ball and work together to raise those attendance numbers we are already being out numbered by the MCI crew!   I am off tomorrow and will be washing my bus for the show and shine on Saturday, don't worry bout it Matt we will have a special people's choice class for Show & Mud" for ya!

The only place I know of is the Blue Beacon up there along the I-15 By Craig road, I think Tom knows that one. Tom?.....

Global Wash on S valley view is better than the streaking beacon but there are tons of the small mobile guys in the Vegas area.I lost the young mans card that all ways washed for us at Sams Town he did a great job.Watch out for the acid washes tell the washers soap and water only that acid stuff will make aluminum a mess

Yes global wash across from the TA on Blue Diamond,  blue becon on Lossee and Cheyene, I  think there's  one on Boulder Hwy, the mobil guy I've  used when he was at the Railroad Pass casino hotel, at the 93/95 junction, maybe Camping World on Boulder Hwy has one too, lvmci...
