Wow, I think you just got Coach-Net a sale.

I wish I'd known about them the last few years, though they probably would have dropped me with the number of problems I've had.  :)

I would probably lean towards a cummins not sure what would fit in a 9, but just about anyplace you go I think you could find someone to work on them.

Brian, what hp do they come in? not to familiar with the cummins sizes but someone said a m11 would fit.

My 102C3 has a Cummins L10 in it  The bus company i purchased it from converted it years ago. I'm pretty sure the engine bay on a -9 is about the same size as the C3

The ISM is the better engine between the L-10 and M-11 with the same foot print you can have up to 500 hp with 1550 ft lbs of torque I like the 450 hp setting with 1550 lbs of torque a little easier on fuel than 500 hp and will last longer JMO.

If you have room for the Allison MH 4000 transmission that is the way to go,down side is you need to change the rear gears for the MH 4000 or you will running around in 5th all the time

Clifford the non EGR ISM's like mine are 450/1200.  To get 500 you have to change the turbo, but the torque remains the same.  The new smog engines are different.

My friends is a 2012 or 2013 Foretravel it was 500 hp with 1550 lbs of torque I don't how they do it but he dropped his to 450 hp and torque stayed the same runs cooler now that was a problem he was having it still heats up but not as bad @450 hp.

Mark have you talked to John and Sandy lately I understand they have a new 45 ft toy with a Cat engine lol another Eagle on the market soon
