Anyone got a 4106 spicer and flywheel left over from an v730 upgrade?   I'm helping a guy out that's broke down in my area and his flywheel is badly damaged and his input shaft is the worst that Luke has ever seen.  I figured if someone had something collecting dust it might be cheaper for him.

I read the Face Book posts.  I figured the flywheel fell off the crank.

Send me a PM. I might be able to help

I think Luke can get him a spline saver and clutch disk set that will fix the input shaft problem.  He's got quite a parts list accumulating.

Pilot bearing, throw out bearing, flywheel, clutch set, pressure plate, flywheel bolts of proper length and hardness.  They are not grade 8 bolts that were in there and they ware only 2" long.  Crap the threads do t even start until 1-1/2" from the head of the bolt.  The crank is threaded over an inch longer than the bolts.   Most of the bolts sheared off 2x. Once at the head and once where the threads started in the crank.

I'm sure he will take you up on that.  What's the difference for him to let you know?  Can he arrange 2nd day air shipping with like FedEx and could it be shipped tomorrow if we get you the info?  In sure shipping would be a lot but he's broke down and only on vacation until Monday.

This is what's on it.    A112 with the # 27 stamped sideways to the left of the # A112

If that helps

Also maybe he just needs the tooth gear ring part of it.  That is the mating surface and if comes off correct??  It would be much lighter to ship that's for sure.  Can you switch it like that?? The only damage is the bolt hole area and mating surface.

Ok he will need the whole flywheel.  And can you wrap it up in cardboard for UPS ground shipping.  We wanted to get it faster to get them on the road but the clutch rebuilder is going to take a few days to get the clutches and spline saver ready so they won't make it home from their vacation in their bus so ground shipping is fine then.   How can they contact you to pay the shipping and packaging fees??  PM me a contact number and I'll give it to them.  I'm just the middle man helping out someone free of charge that's broke down.  I never met them until two days ago when they broke down.

Too bad he didn't have the time to convert to a V730 with the money he is going to spend to get back on the road.

Luke is having a spline saver sleeve made to go over these nasty splines in his transmission input shaft.  They then make new clutch plates that go on the larger splines.   These are impressively damaged to have still been working.   It's not cheap, the whole kit that includes the spline saver, 2 clutch disks, and the intermediate plate is $650.  Ouch but we couldn't find a new input shaft and he still needed the disks and plate too.  And his cores are no good since they are all broke or damaged.  The flywheel is the last part of that puzzle for him.

He doesn't need the scuff plate, is it light enough without it to ship ups?

I'll check with uship to pick it up.  Can you strap it to a pallet and load it on the truck?

You are in Phoenix or a suburb I probably need the exact town for a correct bid.
