Sean, oh my. we really are Corsican....we just installed a house unit that uses about 1 gal per flush. Not too concerned about it since we travel pole to pole and have a 100 gallon tank. That being said, so far, I'm in love with my toilet. No loud banging of the water valve at night 6 times when preggo wife has to use it...no more stench, can use an exhaust fan in the bathroom without sucking smell up...no more fruit flies flying up out of the hole when we flush, and no more urine storing and spilling in the base. I'm sold. Actually at the moment we are completely renovating our coach in prep for kids. Crazy. Chessie, I couldn't separate the halves because the bolts we so badly corroded. Sean, I would seriously flip the toilet over and remove the slotted screws/bolts holding the two halves together and silicone it. Actually, don't do that cause it will break the foam factory seal and void your warranty. Just wait until it leaks :)
