Tikvah, that site is so quiet... Even yourself is posting questions on this site rather than your own. Should I delete it off my computer?

A Few are really slow right now and Yahoo MCI is almost gone. I think a lot of people have gone to FB and left these behind...Just a personal JMHO!...

Yea it is too bad it never really took off. I always enjoyed it when there was MCI specific posts on that site. I suppose like me, when you need an answer to a problem, or get some traction for a subject, you start a thread on the busiest site which is this one. I still look at MCIbustalk once in a while to see if there is anything new.

Yes, it's true.  I'm guilty too.  For example, I broke down a few days ago.  I didn't post to MCIbusTalk, I needed an answer quickly - and I got one.  If I posted on my forum I'd still be on the side of the road 😀

Should I pull the site?  I guess I should ask that question over there.  But the thought passes through my mind.

Would anyone else like to host the site and give it a try?

Thanks Dave for keeping it going as long as you have. I was already asked if I wanted it before you were so nice to take it over after Jimmy started it. I turned him down because it is a lot of work that people don't see going on to keep the bad guys out etc.
I believe one of the problems is we don't have a lot of real mechanics over there that can answer the questions at least on a regular basis. We have Clifford, JC, Kank and a few others but some ask questions and then 5 days later they might get an answer. Maybe some from this board could be stars over there, LOL Just saying. Hope it picks up . We seem to have a good group of people just not there enough. ;D

Thanks for the work on MCI forum a superb job as the top Dog,  appreciate the time you all put in as Administrator and on just general member stuff with pics and vid's, casual yet on lead. You Rock!

Though seen the post latter on here and wondered, I would have had to say remove it and replace. As trained
Thanks again for your work there, and I could not dream of the many task it takes to run the show, I like all the bus sites but look there at MCI first when its time for a break.
Whatever your decisions,  good times to ya

Every time I posted, on one of these bus-board doo-hickies, someone got their sensitivities offended or something like that, and as I have very little technical knowledge to contribute, I more or less just caved in to walking back and forth to the mailbox to check on the Clearing House Sweepstakes that my wife almost won, no longer posting ... just trolling I believe that is how it was put to me last ... anyway that left a void for me to fill in that area, posting and/or trolling, and believe it or not, one guy has all the cut and paste crap covered on ANY BOARD including Spacebook ... So I just learned to be quiet and be in awe of everyone else who are far superior to me.

To learn of mysterious tools for buses.  My favorite this month so far, the water-delivery-system for refilling batteries with an automatic fill rate that was far superior to a used coke bottle ... One fool even posted a picture of it!

I mean, will wonders never cease?

Now days, I just sit here, waiting on the Mothership to come get me.  As I have no Colorado river to soak in, every now and then, I just mosey on down to the horse tank and see if the yellow jackets are not too bad, if so, I soak there.

Awhile back, the cops and all their associated little meanies, decided the Korean girls down the road a ways were a threat to society.  They rushed in, swooping down off the prairie unannounced, scaring the be-Jesus out of everyone in the place and carted them off to jail.

Big news, out here in the middle of the corn rows, haystacks and cattle browsing the occasional blade of grass on the other side of the wire.

Watched all the so-called news footage on it, listened intently to the rhetoric, watch the sheriff puff up and shine on for the cameras.  But I have to be honest about it.

I never could for the life of me, see the crime.

These gals were mainly in the business of massaging people, a little of that pin sticking stuff, and for the most part, non-violent.  She would say, "You like massage today?" and I would reply, "Yes.  That would be just fine."  Then almost religiously she would offer, "You want happy ending?  Only twenty dollah more.  You like, I see you have good time."

Never took advantage of it, had the money and all, but just took the massage and that was it.  But to this day, I just don't see the harm.  Suppose I will have to go back to that old wrinkled up white guy in Yukon.  He does good work, but it just aint the same.

Today I was going to write a bus article on whether or not ... which do you prefer ... one of those ... two lanes or four lanes kinda guy things ... But I took a nap instead.  So I am sure you are right, no one is posting anything, anywhere, and there are no happy endings in Canadian County.

Oh yeah, almost forgot.  What is an MCI? (Metal Coating Inhibitor)  If it is a rust preventer, sign me up for at least three bottles.

The MCIbustalk site is my first stop every night before checking this site.  I've found solutions and advice for many of my 5C's problems there by reviewing the archives.  This site is the next stop in my search for an answer.  I don't mind the reduced activity, the security for a newbee like me is just knowing if I have an MCI problem I have a place to go for help.  My wife wants to go fulltime in a couple years after retiring and these forums are my safety net.  The more I learn the more I realize I don't know ... I'm lovin the journey.
