We are replacing the dash and need a transmission temperature gauge sending unit on a ht 740 mci 9 located

Are you sure there is one..many were not factory equipt.

2 places if you have one 1st on the oil pan 2nd on top of the torque converter housing close to the return line from the cooler,a hard sucker to locate behind the engine

Thanks for the comments, it is always helpful! I'm getting there!  You guys have seen me through some dilemmas with this 9 year project!

My 4104 has most of the original panel which is really classy.

The 4107 was altered significantly and it lost all its class plus became harder to read.

IMHO, the 4104/Scenicruiser dashboard is a perfect example of excellent industrial design!
