A number of stations are now selling gas and diesel for the same price here in the Minneapolis area.  One station actually has diesel 10 cents less than gas.  Going price for gas and diesel right now is $2.69.

I thought I would never again in my lifetime see diesel at the same price as gasoline.

Sweet! I'm sitting at a little under half a tank, and will need to fill up before I depart in a month. A few cents a gallon add up quickly in these beasts.

That cheaper diesel sure makes it easier to take off when your bumping though 4 to 5 miles per gallon in your wagon.

+- 10 cents a liter less than gas up here. That's 40 cents a gallon.

$3.14 a gallon at Napavine Wa. right now, looks like about the best price in the area. Need to top off the tank today before we do much running around the state.

We do a decent amount of miles each year and this past 6 months has been real nice with the lower diesel price. We are heading into Eastern Canada in a few weeks, with good weather and lower diesel we figured we ought to go someplace we've never been. Craig

$1.09 a litre here in Tatamagouche (actually everywhere in Nova Scotia, the government sets the price every Thursday night and every station sells at the same price).  Which is about 40 cents a gallon less than regular gas, but on the other hand is $4.20 a US gallon.

A buck nine sounds good out here.  We're paying around a buck twenty.  The current excuse is that the northern peso is trading at such a discount to the greenback and that is pushing up the price.  Personally I think the price is what it is because us sheeple keep paying the price.

It isn't like at $4.20 a gallon that people are going to stop going to work.  People pretty much have to buy some fuel to commute to work at least.

It seems since 2008 that most people have adjusted their budgets for higher priced gas so it doesn't affect most as much.  I still start cutting back on non-essential driving when gas gets above about $3.50 a gallon.  It is a 16 mile round trip to any decent stores so I try to do most of my shopping on my way home from work as I drive right by a lot of stores.

With today's price of a barrel of oil according to prices years back we should be paying $1.50-$1.80 per gal, inflation is a nasty word same as greed.I filled mine yesterday still cost me almost 400 bucks but it sure beats 600 bucks
