The reason I ask is that I am getting ready to sheer some sheets of 24 Ga. #4 stainless for out ceiling panels and am concerned if there may be too much torque on the panel allowing it to bend.
I am still using the track that held the original ceiling sections in.

I chose a lighter weight stainless because it was real close to the weight of this formica panels = the fact we have removed about around 485 lbs+ of unnecessary weight out of the coach so we can add in items we would like to have.

Thanks for any input!

A lot of it depends on the condition of your frame inside the walls, but in general, there is some flex, but probably not enough to cause you problems. The bus sits
on air bags, which allow it to move side to side and forward and aft as a unit. You would probably not be able to see any twist or flex with the naked eye.

on our 102c3 I used 1/4" ply on the ceiling then the ceiling carpet used in s/s r/v's and after 10 years I can now see the 48" sheets on two joints looks like a shadow . I just installed a trim strip 1" wide to cover up the shadow . before I installed the trim strip the only time you could see the shadow was at dust when the inside lights were on . so yes there is some small movement . I would leave a small gap like 1/16 " or 1/8" for any movement and a trim strip

Is the shadow from movement or actually dust/dirt streak infiltration?
