It WAS FANTASTIC, this is the first one Janet and I have been able to attend. The weather was perfect the people were awesome, Tony, Pam and of course their supervisor Jack did a great and awesome job.
NO problems on the way home, arrived in Cornville, AZ  Sat afternoon about 5 PM. While there discovered hole in black/grey holding tank, now need new tank, Sunday morning Janet emptied the bus, I put the Trike, jeep and trailer away then the bus in the garage and plugged in the electric and Then I sat down to have a cold one. Started smelling something then saw smoke the got my act together and started opening the bay doors, course the smoke was coming from the one that did not look like it was coming from. Log story short the inverter shorted out or what ever and the wiring was burning, inverter was burning, I was doing a little stepping and fetching my self. Jerked out my coveralls which were on fire, grabbed some water bottles, I had already unplugged the bus, and started cooling down the wires which were on fire. I was having a hard time getting them out did not want to use the ABC fire extensor until the last resort and was just about ready to call 911 when I was finally able to get it under control. Well I have insurance so will get that going tomorrow. Now all I have to do is get a new windshield, new black tank, new inverter, and new wiring.
Now where did I put that cold one.
Thanks to all of you who where at Pahrump for accepting us into your group. I forgot to mention Gary and what he did. When we discovered the black tank leak I could not get the cap off the fitting, old hands, so Gary did it for me, well it leaked so Gary got back down there, I was on the other side of the bus to shut the valve, when I came back around Gary was getting a little messed up. Well he got it done right and then went to take a shower. He is great.
Thanks again to all of you

This was the best yet rally. Thank you to Tony & Pam. The best part were the people that showed up. Bunch of great people. I've been to RV rallies, and can say without a shadow of a doubt, bus conversion people are easy to get along with.

When we came up from L.A, we went I-15 into Las Vegas then 160 to Pahrump. That entails the long Baker grade and then going over the hump into Pahrump. We went back through Death Valley, which is 41 miles shorter, and didn't have any big grades to contend with-at least where I had to down shift. Granted it is 2 lane, but good 2 lane. If going or coming from L.A. to Pahrump, by all means go up from Baker to Shoshone, then east to Pahrump. Good Luck, TomC

Check your shore cord. Sounds like your neutral and ground got together. Common place at the plug.

AGAIN...THANK YOU to ALL that attended our BCI Rally.

It is so nice to read all the flattering posts directed to Tony and me.  Jack of course takes them all in stride.

Ed..was sorry to hear that you had yet another issue with the bus on top of everything else that you have been dealing with.
Please give Janet a hug for us!
