Haven't tried the oil but have tried the dryer sheets and they lose their smell in a very short time.

When they get too dry the mice use them to build nests!

They are getting in the compartment under the drivers feet and coming up around the pedals. I watched one thru the window yesterday. They must be coming up the shifter rods

Good mouse trap and you can always find other uses for a 5 gallon bucket...
