Ros's profile says he hasn't been active here since first week of January.  This doesn't mean he hasn't been reading posts as a guest.

The 4905 and the 4903 do, in fact, use the same brake drums, front and rear.

He is posting like a fiend on another site, says he was run off from the others.  Said he got 1 block before trouble started.  will probably turn on me for mentioning him, like the last time.  Anyhow, several options are being discussed at length.  If someone has or knows of the location of a useable set of drums I am sure the Folks at the shop where he is at would like to get the bus on the road.

muldoonman

Oh my! Didn't listen to all the good advice most folks had on the forum. Well, live and learn or not. Good luck!

eagle19952

smh... he made it 2 blocks because that's where he picked up the bus ...  ???

I understand he went to Choo Choo to have them look for problems, which unfortunately they found. Aside from the brakes the bus appears to be mechanical sound, so if brakes is the only problem it's not that bad

Well welcome to the perils of coach ownership. Even if you do you own work it can and does get expensive. If his coach is like my 76,000 mile coach,  always something to fix.
