40% less by the barrel   =  25% less at the pump

You have to consider that there are a bunch of taxes that are usually a fixed amount so the percentage you pay in taxes goes up as gas prices come down.

In Minneapolis gas prices are down 45% from six months ago.

I meant for the ratio of 40 gals vs cost of one gal
price wise. I can't get my head around it, probably need a nap or something

BK-- I didn't know you are 100 miles west of me.  I am in Gallatin, TN.  Dale (Songman on EI) is in Nashville too.

Fuel is $2.97 here!  You should stop by and get some cheap fuel.

Yup 15 miles N. of exit 108 on I-40 my place is right on Broadway of America aka US 70 which also goes through Nashville!

Shoot I can go 25-30 miles and get it that cheap or cheaper! LOL!
