I have a 1963 5303 that has the original charging system. I have had two mechanics look at it with no resolution. Both are very good. The bus will not charge until you jump the battery feed at the generator to the relay terminal on the generator. We have checked the wires, connections, relays and all seem to be in good order. We have to be missing something or else it would be working. Jump the two terminals and everything is fine. I'm working with some what of a handicap. I really don't have easy access to under the bus. No pit work over. The bus is in the Baltimore area. Any help with this will be appreciated.

Hi Alley 251 & Folks:

You will have to be able to get to the blower compartment under the bus where your voltage regulator and sensing relay are located.  If you have a broken wire or sensing relay or is bad, it will cause the problem you are experiencing.  You can reach us toll free at: 1-888-262-2434.

Hope this Helps!!!

Happy & SAFE!! Bussin' to All.
