Though a suggestion of Gumpy`s  I sent the powers to be at Arcadia an email stating my intent to join the crowd  in Dec and would like to spear head a seminar on  what to look for when purchasing a used bus with little or no knowledge and received a response from Brenda Phelen today, and She said Yes! She has a great name for it too!
" Bus buying 101,A new bus buyers experience"

My intent is to intro myself and my initial adoration with the bus ,my immediate purchase with little to no knowledge of buses except the many times traversing the South as a youth in one!  8) and then hoping 1 or more experienced Bus Nuts will join in/take the wheel and go through her or at least  list the things a new bus seeker should look at/for and guide bus seekers in the right direction while getting to know her a bit better myself with a plethora of Bus Budda`s in the House .
Any how wanted to share the news and possible Seminar and let all that are going this year that I am truly looking forward to my arrival and meeting as many of you folks as I can.

   Sincerely, Louis.

And Thanks Again for every thing Craig/Gumpy!!

This could be a really fun seminar, and informative for all involved, especially for Louis. I wish I could attend this year, but it's not looking good.

There was talk that someone was interested in hiring me in Huntsville, so while I think it is unlikely, there may still be a glimmer of hope of me
being close enough to be able to come to Arcadia.

Can I do a seminar on "how to best bang your head against a wall when you're sick and tired of your bus but you love it too much to send it to the glue factory?"

Scott, Well maybe !!!!??? If the Bus 101 goes as I hope and a Bus Guru or 2 looks her over but tells me I need to win the lottery to get her right well I`ll segway and add-lib  into  how to let our buses go to the glue factory and still lead productive lives LOL!! With possible medications?
Wonder if there`ll be any Doctors in the house??

Never got tired of the MC7 in the 20 some years of playing/learning her, I just got old with health issues, sold it, bought a store bought Foretravel mainly so could have others do the repairs.  The MC7 was not a bus, not a truck, just a crossed up contraption that ran super well, but as all, it needed care & feeding to keep it alive.
Also found the annual run to Florida for the new years party, started with the CCO for years, then became the Arcadia gang, a great upbeat outing I look forward to for the past 25 years, it is my get out of Dodge thing.
See y'all in two months
