Entry Door Gasket Cement

I called and ordered from Prevost parts, a new gasket for my entry door. I asked what kind of cement/adhesive they use and was told it was just a peel and stick type with adhesive already on the back. WELL, my gasket arrived and guess what, there is no peel and stick on the gasket. So I need some recommendations on what to use. Constuction adhesive, silicone caulk, what I'll be replacing my bay gaskets also shortly so I'll need something to do those also. Thanks

Best stuff on the market for this application. I would go with black and clean and dry the receiving surface very well.  Then after application as described on the box, take blue tape and hold the material in place for 1 hour.  Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for your input. I will go with the 3M stuff. I've removed the old gasket and am cleaning the old glue out of the channel with my Dremel tool and finish with alcohol (the channel). I'll be trial fitting the new gasket before applying the adhesive bead and will close the door with air pressure while it dries. When done, I'll finish installing my deadbolt. Looking forward to having a functioning lock on the door. Then on to the bay gaskets. Thanks again for your advice. Gerry H

I removed standard rubber cement. Put a coat on the gasket and a coat in the channel. Let it dry to tacky. Stick them together.
