In one of the topics I tried to attach a jpeg file. I typed in A:\rearend1.jpeg and hit brouse everything fine. I could not find anything to click to attach file, if I hit preview an error message comes up and said you must attach file first. Thanks Ray

Ray, first hit browse. It should bring up a list of files on your computer. Find  A:\rearend1.jpeg and then highlight it with a click. Then hit Open. It will then attach that file to your post and the title of your document,  A:\rearend1.jpeg , will appear in the Attach block. That will tell you that you have the correct document.
Then hit post.
I am going to try it here to make sure that is correct with some thing from my favorites.

Yep. it worked. I tried it.
I forgot to add that after you get it posted and want see it, you have to click on the little green paperclip that has the attachment name after it. The attachment then opens. There may be other ways to do it, but that is the only way I know how.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, a good Reisling in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming:  WOO HOO, what a ride

Thanks Richard that worked, now the file was to big. I tried.  Ray

Can you break it up into two files?

Maybe I should take that and re-write it and post in the help section. I feel sure it would be of benefit to someone else in the future.

Ray, another thought. Can you email the attachment to Dallas? He is very knowledgeable about this and perhaps he can determine how to attach it. And at the same time he can help put together a Help topic on how to attach documents. Huh Dallas, Huh?
