There will be an auction of bus parts, shop equipment, Eagle conversion, etc. just north of Charlotte, Michigan on August 23.   Owner was Richard Lender who owned Coachland and worked on coaches for many years.   He died in a car accident this spring.   You can find this auction at www.auctionzip.com ID# 2699.

..... wish I would have bought that Eagle bus I saw at Staley's over a dozen years ago, would have been a quarter mil ahead at this point and I still LOVE THEM EAGLES (not to mention the air ride problems, how much time do we spend enjoying the air ride vs. the time we spend using them and the problems maintaining them?)

We should do a thread on "THE BUS I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT" - might be a REAL long thread - go ahead and ruin my day

In that picture it looks like the front end is set awfully high, or he has small tires up there.  I think somebody's going to get a great buy on that one.

He always parked it with the jacks down Mark that is why it looks high ,I see the jack down in front of the tire in fact

After talking to Gary this morning, I had to come back and look at the picture again and sure enough he was right, no rivets! That is a clean rig for sure. Gary was also very saddened when I gave him the news of Richard's passing. " He was a very nice and talented fellow, loved to talk buses for hours with those he knew. I am very sad to hear of his passing" Condolences to his family and close friends, I only wish I had the opportunity to meet him  :(

You would have loved him  Richard was killed in a head on crash Jan 29 of this year, he would have turn 79 this year and was full of energy one of a kind for sure

Yep I see the jacks now, also the no rivots.  I see he parks it on carpet like I do also.  Nice car for sure.

I think I saw this bus in Brownsville at the rally in 2007.  If the same it was a beautiful coach and he was a really nice guy.

It was so unique without any rivets, truly a beauty.
