Was wandering through that Ebay place and came across rear torsilastic suspension parts.  Item 191181409292.  Don't know if the price is good or not. Just passing it along.

Cary - Thanks.....I'd love to buy but I've got to line up a shop first.  That seems to be the hardest thing...finding someone who wants to do the work.

I bought a set from the same seller.  Be prepared for big $$$ if you need to replace all the bolts and the weld on mounts.  There are 64 bolts holding those shackles on.  The Eagle original bolts are $3 or $4 each-- can't remember.  McMaster Carr has the exact same spec bolts for $1.17 each.

This is what every one of the 64 bolts looked like:

I used an oxy-acetylene torch to cut the heads off, then pounded them through backwards with a pneumatic jack hammer modified with a punch tip. The 1" drive, 2000 ft-lb, impact wrench I use to remove the wheels would not even budge the shackle bolts.

I would never consider hiring someone to replace the shackles.  The labor cost for all four would be out of this world.

Clifford- I have had lots of time to think about that.  It involves a frame made of 1/2" steel plate that locks around to the bogie arm and a 20 ton air powered hydraulic jack... that way I can stand 20' away with the air hose.  It will either work or go off like a bomb!  Either way, I don't want to be anywhere near it.   8)

Drilling the grade 8 bolts out are enjoying to do ::) I would look for a larger jack myself sometimes the 20 ton won't cut it
