dash lights went out

Hello i got 85 mci 102a3 the dash lights would cut off then in few cut back on then one day they went out never came back on any idea how i can get them back working .thanks ahead of time

Sounds like a faulty ground.  A fuse usually fails and is not intermittent.

The dash lights should be on a self resetting breaker(fuse) probably a short in the system and the breaker is bad not resetting
