Does any one know for sure what the angle is on a 4104 differential in degrees ?

I think from the 4106 up was 63 degrees and the 4104 back was 57.5 degrees. I try to find my notes tonight, but finding something at my house from over 20 years ago is unlikely.

My '04 is pretty fussy about height.  If you get it too high, the U joints start making noise and I have to get it down to avoid possible damage.  But I have a two speed between the trans and differential, so my driveshaft is short.  From what I have heard, the two speed is not common.  Sure is nice if you are climbing or just moving the coach around the yard.  Reverse is controllable with lower gearing.  Bill T.

I also have a 4104 never knew they made a 2 speed between trannie and drive shaft . wonder where 1 would find a item like that ?

   The only way you will find one is if you buy a coach with one already in it. Rarer than Hydrashift units.

I found the V730 information and it is a 63 degree angle. I searched everywhere I could think of and didn't find anything definite on the original 4104 drive line but I'm reasonable sure it's 57.5 degrees. Maybe someone else can confirm that.

Thanks Ken the ZF behind the series 50 is a 65 degree I can get a 60 degree for the ZF 3 different degrees available for the ZF 60,65 and 80 fwiw
