  Yes I used rainX from Phoenix to St. Louis, but need wipers to pass the safety inspection for plates here in Missouri

Move to north carolina.  anything this old does not have to be inspected.

PS i guess that they know that anything this old and still running has been taken
care of.  Most of my vehicles are like that, as old as me.
