Guys, what would one expect to pay for a rebuilt 6f-6-1 gear box assembly?

Thanks

Parts book for the 9 says the part is a Gear Box Assy- Blower Drive Part # 6f-6-1.  I have a friend who interestingly enough came into a bunch of MCI 9 parts (NOS and rebuilt stuff). I have seen all the parts and he has two of these rebuilt gear boxes with tags still on them. He is not a bus guy!  Wondering what someone would pay to get one of these?

Thanks

I can tell you what I paid for the blowers, gearbox and the seals as a assembly from MCI I don't know what you could get just for the gear box they are not that complicated or expensive to rebuild, but that is a bus part $$$

good luck

I found a couple online for about $700.00 plus core.  Are these items that bus nuts need? I hate to move these parts to my place only to have them sit forever and take up space! I would only do this if others in the MCI group see value in them and have a need.

Thanks

Good enough!  Thanks for the input. I think I will get the parts and then hopefully fellow MCI nuts will need these and I can sell a few parts to get my new bags ;D ;D ;D

Thanks again for your help!
