Today my reverse solenoid went out anyone replace theirs...and I would like to move my bus, I have been looking through the archives for any tips and tricks to engage reverse so bus will move, any suggestions. I am fairly confident this is not electrical issue with switch.Thank you

You can lift the floor access panel and move the shift rail over to reverse with a screwdriver or a pry bar, and you can shift into reverse.  As soon as you shift out of reverse it flips back to normal.  It's probably the points inside, if you take it off you might be able to fix it.  I don't think you can buy a new one.

Jefferson in OKC has those new but a little pricey Eagle had the same setup only 12 volt he has those in stock and can get the 24v

While Jefferson is well known for high price Eagle parts lol they do sell a lot of MCI and GM parts both used and new fwiw, the 4905 GM uses the same 24v solenoid version

I am able to work mine manually from the right engine bay door.

You can push on the solenoid to engage the reverse and have someone in the bus push the shifter into reverse.

Watch your hands back there and don't get run over.
