I'll use them. Now that they have been investigated/caught for this, I can't think that it"ll be a problem anymore. Of course, I haven't bought fuel in last few years, so I wasn't effected.

I observed long ago that Flying J's  five cent discount was a farce because their prices were consistently higher than the others.

Not always Gus, There is a Pilot nearby that competes on gas with a nearby Arco.  My 2 cent discount works there.  Of course, I still can't figure out how I got 6 gallons in my 5 gallon can!
You don't have to believe everything you think.

Sure not the same since Pilot got in the driver seat, but I still get my 6 cent/gal off and so far the direct withdrawal from bank is working fine, but keeping very close eye on em birds.

Tip of the iceberg folks, this could be big, however our mainstream press may screw it up! In my opinion, this might have to do with anti-trust provisions concerning the pilot/flying j merger!

I prefer Love's, no problems ever with them and their auto diesel pumps are very convenient for RVs.

Some of you can work politics into anything. We all know it is Obama's fault, everything is!!

Anyone have an idea how much the rebates are?  I suspect that varies by volume/contracts, but wondered if there is a ball-park value?  Are we talking a few cents per gallon, or significantly larger numbers?

Itseemsthat the trucking companies get rebates for buying fuel there and are to get money back, that iw where it allfell apart of Flying J (as I understand it) they were ripping the smaller outfits off assuming they were not keeping tabs on the rebates and maybe some of the larger outfits too.  Over my head, but it took large powerful govt folks to raid their truck stop in Knoxville, (west of the scales).
Just hope they get what they asked for by cheating the trucking outfits, as far as I know, this does not mean a bus/rv if going to get anything, nor were they promised rebates ??
Enjoy the simple life & pay tax.

Jim it runs into cash with my commercial Texaco card the rebates start at a 1001 gal .01 and goes up to .06 a gal over 10,000 gals

When I was using 40 or 50 thousand gal a month it was a nice check every month those days are gone for me with no boat, equipment or a Eagle to feed

With 4,000+ trucks can you visualize what a outfit like Swift would get in rebates at .06 to .08 a gal that is about the average rebate Pilot could have been a little more but I doubt it

Jim, the reports are that it runs into tens of millions!
Gus, I was not being at all political! It is fact that the media does a poor job of reporting news!
