Just got here, where is everybody!!!! ;D  There are 2 rv parks here, the one we are in is about 200 yards south of the staging area on the west side. Nothing fancy, kind of run down but they do have 30 & 50 amp plus sewer and water for $25 a night or $12.50 if you have passport america.  Gonna take a quick run to the other one which is 2 miles south of here but from what i have heard it makes this place look like the Hilton!

Hey Ed, just got into Jackson, TN about 100 miles from you.  Checked into a dumpy campground to wash the bus, but it's raining.  Guess I'll head your way tomorrow.  Is there a hose bib at the staging area??

Just got off of the phone with Mark before getting on here. :)  The other rv park is about 2 & 1/2  miles from here and looks a lot better than i expected, even better than here. Didn't stop and ask about the price.  Went to the Depot but looked like they were set up for either a wedding reception or something for Easter so we did not go in.  Town is a lot bigger than i thought, main street has some strange jogs in it. There are some really nice houses in some areas and some really bad houses in other parts. Quite the mix of things.

Mark, just got back from checking for faucets at the buildings. Only found one and there is no water. They must have shut it off when they closed up the buildings.

You early bird, you!

Perhaps when Jim Shepard shows up, you can volunteer to help him staging arrivals, eh?

RoadrunnerTex (JL Vickers) & I will be there Thursday about lunch time, in his "Luxury Liner" 4905.

We will be there on Thursday afternoon, I think about the best area RV Park is a KOA about 20 miles north...just across the Missouri State line. We will probably be staying there as I really need electrical, my generator is the next thing on my list to replace. Got lots to do between now and departing. Looks like the weather should be OK next week.

 Looking forward to it...

We will be heading out on Monday, hope to be in Blytheville on Wed late afternoon. Still have a few more things to do on the bus tomorrow. Changed the oil and rebuilt the air dryer today, got to wash it and sanitize/fill the water tank tomorrow. First night at a Walmart in Winchester VA, second night in a campground outside of Knoxville TN. Can't wait to meet everyone!!!

RJ, already talked to Jim a couple of weeks ago about helping with the parking. :)   Clifford, parking on the lake? What is the story on that? Saw the lake on google earth, haven't been there yet.   Emcemv,  Mark washed his bus, 45 miles later he was in the rain....We ran in the rain for about 260 miles yesterday, it started raining friday nite just after we got over the Arkansas state line and is still raining although it is nothing like it was yesterday. Have seen more rain in the last 2 days than i have seen in the last year or two! Figured if i had any leaks in the bus they would show up and i was right! I think the seal at the bottom of my windshield is leaking a little. Think that the wind was forcing water up underneath it, didn't even know it until after we got here and noticed the dash covering was damp.

Ed, we are hoping for not too much rain, we need a new windshield gasket and it leaks a bit onto the dash.....

I'm going to wash it before we go and it is what it is when we get there! Honestly, with all that I've been doing to the bus before we go, I will just be happy to get there in one piece!!

Quick update,  Mark Renner got here and so did Jim and Pat Shepherd so the pre-rally rally is now on!  Also the rv park owner said that he will give the half off rate to anyone that wants to pull in here. Paper has a front page story about the rally.  ;D
