Has anyone used the wireless back up camera from Wal-mart.  The price is about $100  It has a small eye about 1" around in the back and the screen is anout 3" square.  Is it worth it or should I look for the real mcCoy?

40 foot is a long way to go with an inexpensive video transmitter.  And a 3" screen will be difficult to see while you are wheeling into your parking spot.  Too small to see any real detail.

I agree with Moof, a 3 inch screen is just to small to be of any use.

Get the real thing..

You would be very upset spending the bucks and it not being what you want or need.

OK, What do you recomend?
Jim

I looked for my receipt for the one I have, (hardwired), no find. The guy I bought it from is all he sells. I think I did a Google search at the time. I will keep looking because I save all my receipts. I have had mine for a couple of years and it works great. Has night vision, sound and a black and white monitor. Spent around 150 bucks.

They have them on ebay all the time. Other vendors also have them from black and white to color screens.

My 2 cents

I personally would not go with a wireless camera. There's *very* good reasons why the cheap ones are cheap, and the good ones are *expensive*.

I get my cameras from http://rvcams.com/ He's got a few different models, and the ones I have used have all worked quite well.
