Small heater on cold mornings, or a fan?

Computer, TV, heating blanket, and a few other appliances cross my mind, plus, who knows what might be invented in the near future that uses electricity.

Easier to install now, than to add later.

Just my thoughts

Radio alarm clock --- BUT when traveling in the bus I am usually on vacation

A TV if you like to have a bedroom TV.  A CPAP if you or your spouse/partner needs one down the road.  A Sleep number bed or similar with air pump.

Would you ever build a bedroom in a stick house without outlets?  (Besides the fact that code requires them.)

So you don't need to jury-rig a little 12v inverter to power your bedside radio that you got tired of buying batteries for...

So you can then drill a hole in the floor and pass a wire through to install a 120 VAC outlet in your engine bay so you can plug in your block heater without running a long extension cord under the bus in the pouring rain...

These are but two of the reasons I wish I had installed a 120 VAC outlet in the bedroom...

Electric fans, electric blankets, extra lights, trouble light - etc....

There is a standing rule about outlets, there is no such thing as too many. They are always getting covered up by furniture and unplanned additions!!

Another good thing is to put them at least two feet from the floor. I did this when I built my house, none of them are down by the baseboard. You will appreciate this when you get old like me!!

I ended up with one 120Vac and a 12Vdc convenience outlet just above my built in nightstands for whatever I may need. Phone chargers, alarm clock, night lights, etc.

I also put one on each side near the forward corners of the bed room for plugging in a heater if needed.

Glad I have them.

My wife likes to sit on the bed to blow dry her hair. Battery charger for bedroom toys?  Good Luck, TomC

   I have 1 on each side of the headboard , 1 has sleep # bed an heating pad , the other has clock.  The 1 at the left foot of the bed has the TV, direct TV box, an power strip, an cube heater. the right foot needs one but too late must use hall.
    I have 1 each 12V light over each side of head board, plus 1 each cig. socket an use it for 12V fan.
    Only AC is hard wired, everything 120 is plugin.
    I agree with everyone bedroom needs   there easy now, not later.
    Also all of mine are up near the roof, not on the floor, only one on the floor an it is in the dinning area.

Don't forget that most plugin heaters have short cords so one only 12" off floor will allow cord to rest flat on floor in the middle of bus floor w/o an extension cord(depends on layout of bed or beds)

Because you shouldn't run an extension cord through a doorway (because you forgot to install an outlet).
