Clifford has reported multiple times over the years that he never gets PMs here. I've certainly sent and received a number of PM over the years. Although, I sent BK a PM a week ago and he never replied. I ended up calling him, but I didn't ask if got my PM.

Well Brian yes I did get your PM. And responded to it earlier in the day the same day you called.

But I did notice that the PM's I've gotten lately show up a few days after the date it shows the poster sent them!

As far as sending Clifford PM's I gave up on that a long time ago as he has said more than once he doesn't get them. So if I need to, it's either call him or post a thread asking him to contact me

I thought it used to work fine and would get a notification if one was sent. It does not do that anymore. I just checked mine and found that I had one from John 316 dated Sept 5th that I did not know about.

I actually have two PMs I didn't know about. The email notifications of new PMs seems to be broken or something. I'll verify my email address, but others seem to have the same issue it seems.

Although I had not noticed it, there was a number "1" in parenthesis next to the message button when I signed in. I don't know how long it has been there, but it disappeared once I had read the old PM. If that works, it is almost as good as an email notification,

That little number is just too small to notice most of the time. I'm used to getting an email when I have a PM so I never look at the other PM notification.

I almost always take a glance at the "my messages" tab when I first sign in and lately they are not showing up in my box for several days after the OP sends them (according to the date on them!)

Y'all just need to pay attention to the message bar!

I'll ask Phil if the email notification is or is not working. I know there have been a lot of changes due to the new ownership. It's getting better, hang in there!

FWIW, I'm not getting any email notifications, either. I've triple-checked my settings; I used to get (until maybe a couple of months ago) notifications of new messages in threads I've posted in. Those threads show up as subscribed, but I don't get the emails.

Rick and I bypassed the board everything worked, we even did it the old fashion way we had a conversation over the phone lol
