Lately when I get on facebook, there are advertisements that have bus conversion magazine on them, and under it, it is advertising a dating service?

We tried to tell them about ning, but they wouldn't listen.

Why does that surprise you Ruthi  that is the reason I don't care for the magazine anymore they had a shrink her and husband running around in a nudist colony and writing articles published in BCM had nothing to do with a bus but they kept writing and Mike kept publishing

Thanks John. Been a crazy yr. getting hurt took a lot out of me. Work has been really busy too. Is Ning a um.....resort? Where at?  Too bad that is being associated with bc on fb.

Wait a sec. Looks like I missed something. You got hurt? Listening ears want to know.

Ning is some kind of free website hosting/social networking place. I don't know much about them, except they are a REAL pain to get rid of when you sign up for one of their free websites. If you know what yuku is, it is a somewhat similar idea. They have a lot of adds about anything and everything, and I will not have anything to do with them. There are other options

I have broken the links with the Ning site for now.  For those who wish to visit, please be safe & wait until they have cleaned it up.  We work very hard to keep the forum clean & safe & will continue to do so.  If there is any other such breach please let me know & I will take care of it if I can.

I don't see where Facebook is any better. Anything you post on there is theirs to use however they want, as long as they want. Read the agreement.  That picture you posted of your grandparents at their 50th wedding anniversary can be use to advertise a "mature sex online" site and there is nothing you can do about it.

Not on it. Ain't going on it. Although, about the only thing they could do with a pic of me would be for a mortuary maybe.......

I shattered my elbow. Had surgery and they had to remove some of it and rebuild it. I was in surgery for 7 hrs.  It has been a rough recovery for sure. It won't ever be the same, and will only be able to lift light stuff. Can't quiet straighten it all the way. I am thankful though it wasn't my leg or hip injured. Could have been worse.
Facebook can certainly be a risk, and I take all cautions possible, and only have family and close friends on there. I would not have found some of my family and friends if not for fb. I use it as it is My only means for staying in touch with all my family spread out all over. It is a risk I am willing to take for that purpose.

About a week ago there was a banner on the right sidebar for some dating site or something of that nature...thought my eyes were playing tricks on me.
