Does anyone have a DOT sticker or other documentation on the load ratings of the axles for a 1985 Eagle Model 10?
I just relocated to PA and they are the first state that has insisted on having this information documented as part of their annual inspection process (FL, CO, CA, and TN did not care!).
Any help would be appreciated!

It is on the manufactures plate is that not good enough for them combine the 3 axles if not a s10 model and it will be 37,500 lbs with 11R 24.5 tires and wheels

If it came from the factory with 11R24.5's it will be as follows:

front     11,700

bogie    10,000

drive     17,000

GVWR    38,700

luvrbus:  Where on the coach would I find the "manufacturer's plate?"

Boomer:  Where did you get those figures?  Anything you can take a picture of and email me?

Thanks Guys, for your help!!!

Go here and have one of the guys send you the page from the Eagles manual with the info www.eaglesinternational.net the manufactures plate should be up front above the drivers window if converted search the drivers area or a cabinet.

Manny has a place in FL that can make you a new manufactures plate using your Vin number and it will have all the info you need

good luck

luvrbus:
Thanks for the info!!!
I have searched all over, but the guy that raised the roof and put a new cap on the front was not the guy that did the interior conversion, so I think that the plate is either long-gone, or was covered-up beyond my ability to find...
I will go to the Eagles International site and contact "Manny" to get a new plate made???
If he has the correct information, that will solve my problems!

Thanks again!

luvrbus:
Sorry to ask, but what is the best way to get in touch with "Manny?"  I think I have to "register" with Eagles International, so whlie the topic is current, I thought I would ask you so that when I am an active member, I can "find" Manny.

Thanks,

I have a factory Eagle sales brochure for the M10 that has the information you are seeking.  I can not email it to you right now as I am working away from home.  I you contact Jefferson Bus or B&B Coach they might have a M10 data plate laying around.  Change the serial number on it and you are in business.  Keep in mind that right around '81 or '82 the government made the mfg. change from the 5 diget serial no. to the long one.

Doug, this is the plate that I had made at a local trophy shop. Your Model 10 would be slightly different. I had the same problem as you, my original VIN was no where to be found. If you'd like to know more about my Eagle check out the Eagle's Board, Project Eagles, "Manny & Darlene's Eagle 05"  I see you're already registered on that board.
