Roadside Assistance, who do you use?

We are looking into roadside assistance programs and wanted to get some feedback on whom you use and why you prefer them over their competitors?

We have checked out Coach Net and like what they have to offer.
We were also told to check out Good Sam, but have not done so as of yet.
If you have any feedback about them, good or bad, we would like to hear your opinion on either.

We subscribe to Coach Net, on the recommendation of most bus nuts. Haven't had to call them yet, but it is good piece of mind.

I use AAA and get the RV coverage. Never have had a problem with it and have had to use it more than I like.

I personally have Allstate Motor Club, whose low premium covers (it says so in their contract) ANY vehicle, no matter what size or weight, as long as it not registered as a commercial vehicle.

Thank goodness I have been fortunate no to have to use them too much, but they did come, and they did cover the cost of a service call.

I have AAA RV which I have not had to use yet. I got it because it also covers my motorcycle. I have had good luck with AAA in the past. Back when I had a MDT to pull my racecar with, it blew a tire catastrophically in the middle of South Dakota. Even though I just had a basic policy at the time, they still found me all the numbers and got me in touch via 3 way call with a mobile tire outfit out of Rapid City that came out immediately. I had my mom with me at the time, and she was suffering in the heat and it salvaged the trip.

I used a emergency road service rider on my State Farm policy for about $8 a year. Not for everyone, no 800 number, to trip ticks, no free tourist guides. Pay upfront and get reimbursed. Never had to use it!

One 95% guarantee, if you have towing insurance, you will be towed! JIm

I think we will be using Coach-Net.

We presently have AAA as our main insurance, but they have messed up a few times and I am not willing to take any risks when it comes to being broke down and having to depend on them to pull through without any mishaps.

My Father had Good Sam at one time and he was not that excited with the service, but that was in the 70's....who knows, they may have changed.

We use Coach Net. Had to be towed when we broke down in Atlanta. $500 bill. CoachNet check $500. No problems.

We use Good Sam.

So far - always found the operators to be very helpful.

Have called twice over the past few years we've used them. Once for a blowout. Tow truck operator was very knowledgeable on how to replace the rubber, switch rims, etc., (another story) and had all the right equipment.

The other time was for a valve stem issue. We fixed it before they could get someone out but again the operator kept with us & didn't stop trying to find a truck until we said - all clear. It was 4th of July so I cut 'em a bit of slack on that one.

Never any issues when I tell 'em it's a bus!

We have Coach.net. We have used it once and worked out fine. I switched from Good Sam because they sent out someone that really could only work on cars, This was even after I informed them several times about the size of the bus. Coach.net also has a tech support department which I have used once.
