What a Deal Campground

Hey folks,

We just returned last night from a great weekend at Lillydale campground in Allons, Tn.  Its on the shores of Dale Hollow lake located astride the Tn. and Ky. border. 

Beautiful.  Our own White Eagle (Tom) of this Board and of Master of Cermonies fame at the annual bus rally in Arcadia, Fl. runs the show at Lillydale.  Fifty ampheres of juice, water, fire pit, dining table and a dump station.  How about that for $24 per night AND, if you're 60 years of age, get the senior pass and pay only $12 (no tax)!

What a deal and, a fellow bus-nut runs the place!  Matter of fact, at the check in station sits the infamous White Eagle itself!

We stayed only two nights but, would have stayed a month if time had permitted.  Tom was a terrific host.  He'll assign you the best spot in the entire park or, the one you like best.  We selected #30 under some shade trees overlooking the lake.  Wha

Getting there was easy off Interstate 40.  The roads are excellent  - although up a hill and around a curve.  You'll enjoy the scenery, too.

Tom said there would be plenty spaces open until late September but, avoid Labor Day weekend.  Its probably already sold out.
