Had a wonderful day! Started the morning off with some fly fishing on the Rogue River. Becky made my favorite cake, made from scratch carrot cake! Ended the day practicing my fly fishing technique! 

Couldn't have been better.

We head to the Oregon Coast for the winter in a couple of weeks. Can't wait to enjoy the gloomy weather!

Paul what part of the coast? We spent a summer in Crescent city (northern CA coast) a few years back. It was nice. 65 daytime temps and 55 nitetime temps, pretty much year round.

Yep we spent the month of Nov at the Seascape RV park in Pacific City Or one year the gloomy weather does not even come close to describing it lol not a place I care to be in the winter nasty is more like it

Here is where our winter location will be, at least until March 2013. We know the winter weather will be gloomy and damp for the winter months, but September and October should be pretty nice.

We are going to Camp Host not Manage. A huge difference in responsibilities. We prefer the slower paced one! We know it will be hot in the summer, but need to be closer to our kids and grands. Trying to take the bad with the good!
