Sealer/tape behind prevost siding?

Dumb me. Was trying to help Eagle guy and realized I have 5 new stainless sheets to install myself. Other than IBP or Prevost is this a common two side tape available  locally?  Bob

Hey Bob, is the sides on yours riveted or glued? I wonder how they bond the unriveted aluminum?

Rivets Rule! They started after mine year wise and have redone several. The adhesive looks like a gray tape material. some I'm replacing was damaged in fire above wheel well   I forgot tape/material when I ordered siding.  Brain lapse---Was hoping it was common   item.   Bob

Yeah, I love the look of those rivets. I guess cause mine is covered with um!

Rivets do rule there are 5,828 rivets on a 40 ft Eagle don't ask how I know lol

I believe you are speaking of VHB by 3M. VHB Very High Bond can be found on EBay.........

Doesn't Prevost use the JVCC ultra bond I thought the 3M VHB was foam filled ?

I'll call Bill at Prevost service tomorrow. Need to make sure. Will post results.  Last build for me. only going to do it once.  Remind me of these words if I get crazy again!!!   Bob
