Hello all - I am new to BCM and new to busing. It's always been a dream of mine to have an eagle and I was fortunate enough to inadvertently come across one and took the plunge! Could some guide me to where I could find a wiring schematic for a '79 05 Eagle. I'm looking forward and it's much appreciated. Thanks

Chas I am sure Clifford will be able to help you.  You may want to go to the www.Eagleinternational.net board and post this also.

Welcome Chas and congrat's on your eagle purchase. I don't, but someone should have the schematic on a PDF. Best of luck with your purchase, oh, by the way where are you located? There are Eagle savy bus nuts everywhere and one may be  ;) near you.

  Welcome aboard!

Welcome!

Now that you have taken the plunge, go ahead and pat yourself on the back! ;)

I sent you a PM. I can email you a copy of what you need.  ;)

You might think about putting more information in your signature. Such as location and bus year make and model. You never know when a busnut might be in your neighborhood! ;D

Welcome, you have a Brownsville built Eagle a 1979 model depending on the serial number could have the same wiring as the model 10 The best thing you can do is buy a Eagle manual not the CD or the copy

Matt here on the board (Saddleup) has the wiring diagrams for the change over from 5 to the 10 and they are different no matter what you hear lol

Is yours a GSA Eagle let Paul run the serial number for you he has a couple of places to do that the one we have posted on the Eagles board is not 100% accurate

good luck

Welcome Chas!

I hesitate to post this because I don't want to be bombarded with requests.

I have some hard copies of manuals. They are expensive to reproduce! If you are close enough, You could come by and copy all of them.
I have:

Eagle Maintenance
Eagle Parts
Eagle Drivers
Eagle troubleshooting (This is a great manual)
and an extensive collection of information I have stolen from posters on these boards since they started. Some of them I even wrote myself!

I probably could also make a copy of the electrical fold out sheets. There are several of them.

I also have listed all the numbers of the wires (177 at last count) and what they do.

Is the wiring chart inside the electrical door still readable? What about the one inside the rear electrical cover?

I encourage you to join the Eagle board referenced in another post. There are some really knowledgeable guys and gals there.

You have come to the right places. Never hesitate to ask, there are many folks that will help!

Clifford, I appreciate the remarks but I will never be "Da Man". That belongs solely to YOU! I consider you the Eagle owners best friend as well as a treasure to me and all bus owners.

I enjoy our talks more than you will ever know.

I just remember what it was like to learn through my wallet and try to help when I can.
