I have a 110 volt fan that blows air through the remote radiator now --- it is noisy and stirs up a lot of dust -- I just got a set of fans that are 12 volt from a nissan sentra -- the genset is powered by a Kubota diesel -- where is the best place to connect the relay to turn the fans on -- it is a two fan set up -- is it better to just run both fans or use a heat sensor to turn on the second fan

I would be nice to do this one time but it is the bus so I figure it will take me about three tries to get it right

Thanks Melbo
If it won't go FORCE it ---- if it breaks it needed to be replaced anyway

i have used adjustable fan control switches to turn the fans on. they are available at most parts houses.

I spent a lot of money on a thermostatically controlled relay that failed. Now, I use a naturally open oil pressure switch to run a 12v relay to supply power to the fan. Very simple and cheap!
