Where does one buy a simple 2" #8 self-drilling screw?

I can get you the #8 Hex head 2" non stainless for $6.80 per 100 or 5.00 per 1000 how many do you want. This is what I can buy them for.

Yes, I've decided to use wood screws to screw the final layer on.  I don't think the Christmas tree fasteners would work in this case, although I have used them before.

Another way would be to drill and tap into the metal, then use machine screws. Just a thought.
