Once again luvrbus is correct. That bus is an 05 and belongs to a long time member of the Midwest Bus Nuts. I looked up the owner's numbers and the number listed is not one of them. I don't know if the bus is actually for sale or not, but if someone want to check on it I can give you the owner's numbers if you send me an email.

I talked with the owner. He and I have crossed paths periodically when I've had my bus in town loading up for trips. I have not stopped to see it but it is an 05 with an 8V92 set at 435 hp because the rebuilder wouldn't warranty it if it was set any higher. ALso has Jakes. It also has a nine inch roof raise; is all electric with 10 6 volt batteries if I recall, and good tires.

It was converted by a shop in the mid 90s that did quite a few conversions but a name I didn't recognize.

He is selling it because of health conditions that preclude him leaving the proximity of his doctors.

Is the 05 the model or the year? I'm assuming that there is no way a bus that was built in 2005 is selling for 28k?

I admit I know nothing about eagle's... Like y'all didn't guess that already

Rick,the 05 was the model they were manufactured from 1968 to 1980 the 8v71 was the standard engine but the Cat and Cummins were a option never a 8V92 that would be a repower

Hi Rick,

I spoke with the owner a couple of days ago and the phone number has been corrected. As stated in the ad, he is selling for health reasons. He said he has had some tire kickers and one offer but the bus is still for sale.
