Hi all,

I have been thinking about replacing the 20 watt bulbs in my interior Puck Lights for a while. I found a local source for LED bulbs for $5.00 each. They put out the same amount of light and are a lot cooler. Having a black bus it is important to reduce anything that creates heat, especially in the summer. My batteries like the lower voltage too.

I have and use both 12Vdc and 110Vac LED bulbs in my coach.

They make a tremendous difference on heat generated internally.

Just add up all the wattage's you have inside.  Can be like running a small space heater on incandescent or halogen bulbs.

I have been buying from http://www.sailorsams.com/g4-side-pin-led-bulbs-12v
They have LEDs with a 10 to 30 volt range.

I ordered 3 sets of 10 from the seller I referenced above on May 2. I received them priority mail today, May 5.

Bob had given me one with 12 lights in the warm light style. My wife thought she would like the bright light better. These are bright light with 24 led spots. Personally I like the warm light better after seeing these but I will let her decide that when she sees them. It will probably take a long time to wear out 30 of these though. Lol

Has anybody tried the LED strip lights sold on Ebay?  I bought a roll of the LED strip lights, ran out of time to install, and right now they are lost.

Most of the sellers are out of Hong Kong or China.  There are a few USA based sellers, but you'll pay quite a bit more.  I don't recall which seller I bought from, but it was one of the overseas ones.

Anyone have a source or preferred style of recessed fixture in which to mount these?  Looking for both spot and diffuser lenses.
