8-71 odd noise

getting an odd "chuffing" noise from the drivers side cylinder bank. almost like an exhaust leak (but it's not). also a bit of excess grey smoke from that side. I had the rack run about 1000 miles back, this started about 500 miles ago. it's not getting any worse. I may be imagining it but it feels a little down on power too. Any ideas?

You may get that if valves are a little on the tight side. It would be easy to check with a feeler guage.>>>Dan

Better have it checked someone may have used the bridge adjustment to set the valve clearance I hope not but it does happen

Find a good 2-stroke DD mechanic (not a plug-in-technician) to figure it out.  If you paid someone to do it the first time you should not try to fix it yourself.

Valves were fine. While I had it opened up I checked the injectors (hold down he plunger with a big screwdriver method). Sure enough, bad injector. Ordering one tomorrow. Any recommendations for sellers on a DD 60c injector (reman).
