Yesterday somewhere in the topics I saw a replacement tail-light for mci-9 83 models ... I think it was with the mirror ad... I think the company was in Ga... I think the cost was about $125ea ... looking for web address or pics???

Good luck! They were very expensive when I went looking! I decided to replace each of the lights and convert to LED. Total cost was approximately $220.00.  Here is a picture of the end product.

The small 4 inch units fit in the original holes. They worked great. The 7 inch units required a bushing made from .75 thick rubber that provided the backing necessary. The standard 7 inch LED lights will not fit in the original opening. It is about 1/16 too big all the way around and you cannot take that away from the light or the housing. When I replace the 7 inchers I will purchase the same units just the slimmer versions. I also built a conversion box on the back side of each housing unit to make the repairs or replacments a breeze.
