Any suggestions on how to fix a Webasto that flashes 8888?

My coach came with a Webasto heater for prewarming and for keeping the interior warm in the winter.  The control by the driver just flashes 8888 all the time.  My manual says this could be low voltage.

Any suggestions on where to start with this?

Just for starters...

Have you taken voltage readings at the heater?  With heater On & Off?
Have verified that your cables & connections are good?
