We'll be headed there on Thursday, as well. Got a 4 bus convoy coming up from just South of Atlanta: a GM, an MCI, an Eagle and a Prevost (all preregistered :)). Can't say we don't support diversity.

Bringing a bunch of stuff for the swap meet as well as a few musical instruments.

Looking forward to it

There are some reasonably priced hotels nearby for folks who don't have their bus ready. Come on out and enjoy the festivities and fellowship. And bring your list of parts you need! Someone just might have what you are looking for!  ;D

I would love to but daughter is having some issues with college.  I'm heading to Cleveland to see if I can help.  But I'm on the road soon.

We're parked at Choo-Choo right now - attended an awesome workshop this morning on preventative maintenance.  These folks have done a fine job of turning a garage into a classroom.

We'll move over to the rally site on Thursday - sounds like quite the line up for the weekend. Not quite sure if it's a music or a bus rally :) Hooray for embracing the power of' And'.

See y'all soon in the 'Noog!

PS.  If you're coming to Choo-Choo Express Garage (and not the rally site directly first) via 24, if your GPS tries to route you down 41 off of 24, ignore it. There's a low-clearance tunnel of 12'6" that us noobs definitely were't up for attempting.   We just got off at 75, and took exit 1.  Must less stressful.

Wish I could make it, the stupid race schedule is messing things up.

We left Colorado at noon on Saturday in a snow storm and drove all afternoon in the rain. Stopped in western Kansas and had a great steak. Drove most of the day on Sunday in the rain, but made it to Wichita. There we had a nice visit with a couple in the club and hooked up with another Eagle and headed out on Monday morning in light rain. We made it to Springfield to pick up some parts for the 15 and hook up with 2 more Eagles. We will be leaving in the morning, weather is for some more rain. We will be in Chattanooga on Thursday. I have not driven in this much rain in the 9 years I have had the bus on the road. MIKE WHERE CAN I WASH THE BUS IN CHATTANOOGA ?

PS I hope there is not to much reddish brown material on the road between Johnstown and Chattanooga. Looking forward to the rally

Wayne, put this in your GPS - 421 W. 25th St.Chattanooga, TN 37408. You can also just put it into Google and it will show you a big map.
This is Frontier Truck Wash and they are just as you come around the river into Chattanooga so easy on and off. It is an industrial area so easy access.

If you want to do it before Chattanooga, there is WT's Truck Wash in Murfreesboro just below Nashville, also good interstate access - 2441 S Church St # A, Murfreesboro, TN 37127-5509.

George & Glynda have been in Nashville for a couple of days. They are heading down Thursday. I'll be in Nashville Thursday morning and in Chattanooga Thursday afternoon as well. So looks like we'll all be getting together Thursday afternoon.

If you want to wash it yourself, the shop here rents to wash rack out for $10 per bus wash.  DIY bus washing is a chore, but it does have its advantages.
