Hey all

I know I have posted a few, but this one seems sweet!
I wish I had 20k.

Nice coach! I remember these ones in the city service from my child years in El Paso TX
Chihuahua, MX

It is a nice coach, but it is a city coach and I doubt that it will go as fast as he claims. We have a 1948 GMC 3751 and it wouldn't go 65 mph if you dropped it. Another thing , I seem to remember the "Jimmy" engine to be something else.

But I will say it is a very nice looking coach.

It is nice, altho this market is tough on older conversions and most things in general. Here is a pic of our silversides. I think i would be happy to get 20,000 for her! Not sure if my wife would, its the band bus.
we love our buses!!! NE Pa or LI NY, or somewhere in between!

When was the last time that horse drawn buggy in the garage went out.

Looks like something that you do not use as frequently as one would like.

The bus and the buggy are both very cool and I know you do not really want to sell  for 20k :)
Signing off from Cook County Ill. where the dead vote, frequently.

If that bus has the VS2-8 Allison, it could do 85 MPH if the axle was changed also.
Hill climbing might be slow, but pushing only 22K, it probably wouldn't do bad, except on the worst secondary roads.

Must have been a complete rebuild, as a 1942 GM (Yellow Coach) would have been delivered with a Spicer transmission, either atwo-speed automatic or the four-speed manual.  But this is a neat looking little coach.

It is a cool looking bus, but as others have stated his price is a little high in this market. Most folks ask more than what they want, so he may be thinking 15k.
