I think many of us waste too much energy wondering and worrying if "they" are going to like us or not. I know I have when it comes to trying to impress woman who I have been crazy about. Human nature often pushes logic aside but I try to live by the motto.. "If others don't like me, that's their problem. If you are bothered by it, that's your problem". If the group doesn't want you, start your own group and if that means you are the sole member, so be it. I think Donald Rumsfeld put it best..."If you try to please everybody, someone's not going to like it."
