I got the same letter: This is my only link to the bus community and have to trust it will not go away. I don't fit in over at BNO and I don't own a Eagle. Definitely don't fit in with Prevost Prouds. Fingers XXXXX this is just a hiccup.    Bob

Would assume everyone was intended to get one. A rally form was just part of the mailer along with some coupons. Bob.

Clifford,
I am like Bob I really thought it was mailed out to all subscribers. The front of the envelope sad subscription info included or something like that.

I don't think it was limited to those possibly able/willing to attend the BCM Rally.

But if so you could fool them into sending you the letter by telling them you are coming and wish to be a guest speaker! (as a guest, they pay the way don't they?)

. . .I don't fit in over at BNO. . .

Every BBS has it's "cast of characters", why do you feel this way?  Lots of good folk over there, many the same as here, plus a few more.

PM me if you'd rather share privately.

I was enjoying the BNO board, as well as this one. Suddenly, for no apparent reason, my password for BNO quit working. I have tried the online password reset a dozen times, and also written emails to the moderators and webmaster asking for help. I have never heard back from anybody.

^^ I went thru that with another forum. I had to use my wifes email and start a whole new account. Perhaps the both forums used the same host site?  I know that suddenlaunch had some issues lately as well.

I subscribe to the on-line version that maybe why I never got any information by mail.

I also subscribe to the online version, both to save on international postage, and for the convenience of carrying my magazines anywhere on my laptop.

I have not heard from anybody, other than these Forums about the magazine being behind. I have been a magazine editor myself, and can tell you it is certainly a lot of work. And I can imagine that even with the best of intentions, other things in life can get in the way of previous commitments. (For example, I am dealing with a very sick mother at the moment.)

But I also do think good business practice would be to email all of us paid online subscribers and let us know what is going on. Most of us are understanding, if we get an explanation. Will you be extending our subscriptions to make up for the missing issues?

They did say they would extend our issue for the missing ones  ;D

My apologies for not getting the email letter out.  I just sent it out to all online subscribers.

The short of it is that the July & August issues had to be skipped and two months were added back to all affected subscriptions and ads.  The letter explains it better.

It is certainly not a solution we like or took lightly.  And we sincerely apologize to our readers and advertisers for the disappointment it has caused.
