Since we live in ours, it's always ready to go.  But before we sold the house, we tried to help during katrina and other storms.  Since we always have high speed Internet, we tried to find someone who needed our 6 computers, stove, frig, bathroom and of course the 12kw.  all i wanted was for someone to buy the fuel.  Could not find any takers even though the TV said they needed a way for people to get online.  Red Cross and Salvation Army just didn't call back.

so if anyone knows any emergency orgs that might need help, we'll be back on the eastern area in october.

very flustrating when big relief org get involved. everything grinds to a halt!  when we had or last major outbreak or tornadoes (27 lost)the 3 days before fema arrived we got more done than the 6 weeks after they got there. A darn hard fact.  Ask a small local Sheriff or fire department. They are the ones that can get past the big brother mess.   Sorry for venting.   Bob. Now when  Fema shows up we leave. They are usually late anyway.

I guess the beer man always comes through! My beer store knows me by name! When I set up my long draw Guinness tap his can sales fell off - but he still gets the keg sales!

We have an S&S trailer on a lot in the Rehoboth, DE area - I'm thinking that one will be a mess next week... and I am sure insurance will low ball it if its totalled. Time to park a bus on that lot! We also have an apartment in Queens NY - Cindy has to ride out the storm there - darn work.... she will probably sleep in her 2nd floor office rather than the 6th floor of a tall building with lots of glass. I am a little worried about her being there - but she will be fine I'm sure.

Rain is starting here in the Poconos!

Have safe night all!

We are using ours now. I am setting in the weigh station west of Baltimore on I-70. I got off the Shore.
