Which Air Throttle?

The pedal should have a regulator some where to adjust the air pressure and the control cylinder has a linkage for adjustment,but if the line size is not right and the control cylinder and pedal do not match you will never get it right and knowing Marv Roberts of Sundance no telling what he used

I'll agree Marv Roberts of Sundance did some weird things on this conversion but the air throttle wasn't one of them.

The PO installed it and it seems to be a good job as far as I can tell, I just don't know exactly how to adjust it and will probably make it worse if I don't know the specs.

Gus when I installed mine I used 1/4" dot line all the way to the to the engine, then I split it right above the engine and made sure the lines were the same lenth. One to the tranny modulator and one to control valve thing , I forget what the name of it is lol, and when I hooked to the governor I just used the hole in my bracket that lined it up as straight as possible. I did install a regulator up front under the floor. That is all i did and I have not had any problems.

The control valve and Dash pot on the Gov. need to be matched. The air line should be 1/4 in. If the air line is too large there will be a lag as it takes to long to build enough pressure in the line to move the Dash pot.

Equal length lines, didn't know that so will have to check it out.

Maybe that is the reason my V730 shifts like a VS2-8!!
