Well on our short bus trip to southern IN we came across this.  I thought it was kind of wierd that it would be in this condition being transported.

Eric, those are schools buses head for the Navistar school bus plant in Tulsa OK then they finish the process or they could be bodies from Ark going to Canada you never know with this North American free trade thing

good luck

They was heading north thru IN. I just figured that they would build them from start to end at the same plant like most cars. I cant see it being very profitable to do them like that.

This is because they use a commercial chassis and subcontract the body somewhere else. Then do final assembly and slap their name tag on it.
Also this particular one doesn't look like a school bus (no holes for safety lights at top front), probably a personal carrier.
Linux, when Windoze just will not measure up.

BK,

The one about the Amish is funny! :D  I ran into some Amish in western Wyoming on Thursday.  There were about 10 of them travellling in a van pulling a cargo trailer (with a driver of course).  They saw the PA plate on the jeep and came over to chat and see what part of PA we were from.  It turns out they were from Delaware, and were visiting relatives in Colorado, and had just been to Pikes Peak.

I sometimes wonder who is more "backwards"---them or us!!

;D Crazy how they live like they're in the 1800's....but they seem happy! I'm just as happy to embrace technology. Just my 2cents. I seriously wonder how that "RV' rides?  It looks like it used to be a box truck...they ride terrible. Never seen anything like it.
